This material has the perfect matte but soft feel on the wrist. Very comfortable. Hardware is thin and well finished like you find on higher end NATO's. Not the simple rolled polished metal you find on cheap straps.
I previously did a review on my Onyx strap when first arrived and was delighted now I have had in in use for a short while I can honestly say I'm delighted it settled down very quickly to my wearing style and contour in fact I'm so pleased that I've bought two more of these to use in rotation when one is in the wash etc. Super easy to swap out and refresh and keep their shape and texture. At last I don't have to search everywhere for a great strap and being in the UK makes them very good value for money as well as great quality. Stop searching and start wearing.
What can I say about this. I've been absolutely delighted with my Pertexo strap for some time and was really happy to get a single pass strap fully adjustable in a gauge heavier than the average 1.0/1.2 mill thickness. My watch is a Tudor Black Bay 41 so is a chunky head. After some time I wondered if the splitting of the difference in strap thickness might be a good idea just to make it slightly less industrious looking. What happens Lunarwatchstraps comes up trumps again. This is the ultimate band in not only thickness and style but super comfort and amazing finish too. I wanted an all black strap as I hadn't seen anyone doing this style of strap either meant a thinner strap and a mixed colour texture weave but nothing solid. And also very expensive import charges. Apollo straps have superb weave and lovely texture and still robust with a more stylish finish for any situation. This is it for me and they also do a shield buckle to perfectly compliment the Tudor brand. The amount of care in sourcing and testing materials for these straps is way and above standard selection and the attention to detail and super value is exceptional. This is it the Strap has landed Apollo Pure Onyx and mission control there is not a problem. Unreservedly recommended Jim Wylie
